Have you ever felt down in the winter and then uplifted all of a sudden the second summer is around the corner?
The scientific name for that is SAD, or better known as Seasonal Affective Disorder. This is a type of depression that is related to changes in seasons and usually starts and ends around the same times annually. Symptoms primarily start in the fall and continue on to the winter but slowly start to go away as spring comes in.
To help improve your mood during the “sad” months you should take steps to keep your mood and motivation stable during them.
Examples would be being around people you love more or taking a light stroll to see how the seasons have affected the trees!
